Continuing the tradition of Colorado Springs’ “Fabulous Fourth” celebrations, the evening will include food, drink, and fun for the whole family. Don’t miss patriotic favorites and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture with thunderous fireworks over Memorial Park.
Free and open to the public. A variety of food will be available for sale. Picnics are welcome.

Enjoy an old fashioned Fourth of July celebration at Rock Ledge Ranch. Visitors can walk through a revolutionary war camp, hear the reading of the Declaration of Independence and the Gettysburg Address and listen to Katherine Lee Bates as she discusses her inspiration for “America the Beautiful”. Meet historic characters like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.
Carnival games are available in the barn with prizes (tickets available for a nominal fee). Buy a hot dog or homemade ice cream. Visit the General Store for popcorn, candy sticks and Ranch-made merchandise, the Pop Shed for old fashioned soda beverages, and the Carriage House for pie and lemonade. Patriotic music will be performed by the Fountain Creek Brass Band.
Active duty military are eligible for a discount with an ID.

The Tri-Lakes 4th of July Celebration is a full day of festivities for the whole family. The day begins with a pancake breakfast at St. Peter Catholic Church while the 33rd Annual Fun Run begins at the Palmer Lake Trailhead. The Annual Children’s parade begins at 9:30 followed by the Main Parade at 10:00, both sponsored by the Monument Hill Kiwanis Club. Along with the parade, the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce Street Fair will showcase over 100 vendors on both Second and Washington Streets. Favorite festival foods, arts and crafts merchants, local businesses, art, woodworking and non-profit vendors just to name a few. Street Fair activities will continue until 3:00 pm with the Street Dance / Concerts from 3:00 until 9:00 pm.
Since 1900, Cripple Creek’s 4th of July Celebration has been recognized as one of the best 4th of July events in Colorado. This patriotic community knows how to celebrate, and the 4th of July Celebration is a much-anticipated event.
This year’s 4th of July Celebration will feature live entertainment in the City Park located on the corner of Bennett Avenue and 1st Street.
Food vendors and a beer garden be available, so come for a fun and relaxing 4th of July in Cripple Creek’s cooler temperatures and beautiful scenery. Celebrate America’s birthday in charming Florence, Colorado. The fun Wet n Dry Parade will delight children and adults alike. Shoot water guns at the parade floats and enjoy the music, vendors and free family activities. The festivities continue in Canon City with music, watermelon and fireworks in the park that evening.

The Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration is the BIGGEST EVENT in Woodland Park each year! Please join with Community Partnership Family Resource Center, North Teller Build a Generation, and the City of Woodland Park to create a day of family fun for our friends, neighbors, and summer visitors. This FREE annual celebration in Memorial Park will take place: Friday, July 4, 2014 from 9 am–3 pm. Fishing contest and 5K fun run/walk begin at 8 am.
