Gold Camp Christmas

Escape from the modern distractions, and celebrate an old-fashioned Christmas in Cripple Creek and Victor.
Holiday activities will kick off with the nightly Gold Camp Christmas Holiday Headframe Lighting throughout Cripple Creek and Victor  and a Winter Wonderland every weekend at the Cripple Creek District Museum.    Experience the lights in the Gold Camp by taking a drive (with your favorite Christmas tunes playing) on a self-guided tour through our area as our mine headframes are decorated with large Christmas light displays.  Would you prefer a guided tour?  Then be sure to check out the detailed schedule of events for the time and date for the guided tour over the main event weekend.

Iron Springs Chateau Holiday Show @ Iron Springs Chateau
Dec 9 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

This year our show consists of the hilariously funny melodrama “Mary’s Peril,” a classic melodrama where the evil J. Alvin Acne is scheming to take over Sweet Mary Rodger’s inheritance. To accomplish his evil plan, he employs the services of the beautiful Sandy Hills, but whose side is Sandy really on? When Sheriff Horace Witless and his deputy Sidekick Jones show up to investigate, they hope that the faithful house servant Ida Dustmore can help them save Sweet Mary from the evil clutches of that villain Acne!

The melodrama is followed by a Christmas sing-along intermission and a vaudeville-style holiday olio with a plethora of fun filled holiday numbers, skits, jokes, dances, and as always – be prepared to become part of the show! Audience participation is a must, so be prepared to be nice and loud and have a great time.

Dinner reservations are available from 6:00-6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. We look forward to seeing you here!
